This year marks the 17th exhibition of the “Summer Association. We have had many artists participate in the exhibition, not the same members every year. This year, 18 artists will exhibit 4 new works each, and many young artists from the Showa Kai and Mirai exhibitions have joined us. The artists will compete with each other, expressing their individuality to the fullest under the common goal of “opening up the future of figurative painting,” which has been a constant theme of the exhibition since its inception. We look forward to seeing the fruits of the artists’ studies. We look forward to seeing you at the gallery.
